Dimitrios Kotsakis

Dimitrios Kotsakis was a Greek astronomer and a writer. He studied Mathematics at the University of Athens, where he received his doctorate. He was a professor at the Air Force Academy, the Military Academy, the University of Athens and the National Technical University of Athens and a director of Eugenides Foundation. He was the initiator for the establishment of the "Corgialenios Astronomical Station Kryoneri" (known as "Kryoneri Observatory") in Corinthia. He was an active member of the ecclesiastical organisations of Zoe Fraternity.  He wrote both textbooks and popularizing books.
