Πρὸς μόνον ἄρα τὸν Πατέρα καὶ οὐ πρὸς τὸν Υἱὸν ἀναφέρεται ἡ προβλητικὴ τοῦ Πνεύματος μία προσωπικὴ ἐνέργεια. Τοῦτο καὶ Ἀριστοτέλης ἐν τῷ πέμπτῳ τῆς Φυσικῆς ἀκροάσεως ῥητῶς ἀποφαίνεται· λέγει γάρ· «Μία ἀριθμῷ ἐνέργεια ἑνὸς ἀριθμῷ». Καὶ ἔτι ἐν τῷ ἐννάτῳ τοῦ αὐτοῦ βιβλίου· «Μία κίνησις ἡ ὑφ’ ἑνός τε τοῦ κινοῦντος καὶ ἑνὸς τοῦ κινουμένου· εἰ γάρ τι ἄλλο καὶ ἄλλο κινήσει, οὐ συνεχὴς ἡ ὅλη κίνησις».
