Dimitrios I. Magriotis studied at the Law School of Athens University and later received his PhD. He worked as an employee at the Ministry of Finance and became advisor to the Court of Auditors. He wrote many books of legal, religious and social content. His work Θυσίαι της Ελλάδος και εγκλήματα κατοχής (Sacrifices of Greece and Occupation crimes) was awarded the Gold Award of the Academy of Athens.
