"Unlike previous century, modern exact science works in harmony with philosophy and religion". To validate the above conclusion, the writer of this article, refers mostly to Sir William Dampier' s work, "A History of Science and its Relations with Philosophy and Religion".
Sir William Cecil Dampier (1867 -1952) was a British scientist and science historian who in 1901was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society. In 1909 he published the first of his broader works on science and its history, "The Recent Development of Physical Science". This was followed in 1929 by his frequently reprinted and translated "A History of Science, and its Relations with Philosophy and Religion".
