Τhe article explores the relationship of Christianity with modernity. What distinguishes Christianity from modernism--according to the author--is that the latter considers anything new as necessarily superior while Christianity gives a critical view of life. Then, a comparison is made with the concept of progress in the context of communism and the revolutionary claim that this concept carries.
