In this column the author refers among others to the meeting of "Bergson' s friends" and their discussion on the relations between science and human progress. Contextualizing the arguments uttered by Lois De Broglie, Gabriel Marcel, Le Roy, he asserts the necessity of restoring the balance between the material and the spiritual forces.
