Konstantinos Th. Pagonis
Deacon, Professor of Religion in the Averofeio Gymnasium in Alexandria. Later, he became an Archimandrite of the Greek Orthodox Church and was a candidate to become the Archbishop of Athens. He was frequently an opponent to the Bishop of Thebes Germanos, which partly explains the latter 's involvement in the 'Atheika' controversy in Volos, and the subsequent trial of Alexandros Delmouzos.
