Summary - Description:
Τhe author argues in favor of free will relying on the new discoveries of physics, which challenge the eterarchia (determinism) as the universal law that governs natural phenomena (the notion that everything proceeds over the course of time in a predictable way, making free will impossible). According to the theory of autarchia (in determinism) random or causality cannot explain the human decision. Only purpose/telos governs the decision making. Teleological view vs mechanistic view
