Eugene Michaelidis

Eugene Michaelidis was  a very prominent Greek living in Egypt and one of the gatekeepers of Greek culture there. He studied to be a teacher in the Greek Schools of Egypt and later he acquired degrees in Theology from the School of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem and in Arabic language and literature from the Arabic East University of Libanon. He taught in many schools on Alexandreia and was a frequent contributor to 'Nea Sion' and 'Ekklesiastikos Faros'.
